Any anniversary is cause for celebration, but when you’re marking 25 years as an independent outpatient facility designed for quality, comfort, and efficiency, that’s truly something to celebrate.

In March of 1999, a new outpatient surgical facility opened in Duluth, offering skilled and attentive care, a high staff-to-patient ratio, and comforting amenities like private patient rooms, convenient scheduling, minimal waiting and free parking.

Over the course of the next two-and-a-half decades, Lakewalk Surgery Center would come to be known as a place where patients can have a choice in their care, allowing them a say in who performs their procedure, which can have a significant impact on their quality of care and their outcomes. 

Today, we’re proud to say our more than 70 surgeons with privileges have performed over 225,000 procedures at Lakewalk Surgery Center. And we’re prouder of our 98% patient satisfaction rating, reflecting our mission to provide quality care that’s focused on patient comfort.
